Growing up and living in today’s times is so much different than it was back in the 1950s and 1960s. Today, almost everyone has a fistful of credit cards, a mailbox full of bills, and a medicine cabinet full of headache relievers. Back in the day, no one worked on Sunday or shopped either. Plus, lots of libraries feature reading clubs, chess clubs, and more- all free of charge.

For those who can’t tear themselves away from electronics, libraries also feature free use of computers. This means that anyone who needs to or wants to stop paying for Internet use can still access online information at the local library.
